Opened in April of 1992, Disneyland Paris (formerly Euro Disney Resort) is in Marne-la-Vallée, France, 20 miles east of Paris city center. Pizzarotti Group was responsible for the construction of Sleeping Beauty’s Castle and Cinderella’s Castle in addition to the Pinocchio, Snow White and Peter Pan attractions. The metal structures constituting the roofs were made in Pizzarotti Group’s plant in Italy and then transported to Paris by convoy through the Mont Blanc Tunnel, which was closed to traffic specifically for this occasion. Work also included various installations and finishes as well as the installation of fiberglass panels.
